Job Description :
The Medical Social Worker helps patients and families adjust to illness and life-style changes due to a cancer diagnosis with coordination of community, social and hospital services. The Medical Social Worker will be an active participant in the multiple weekly multidisciplinary clinics, which are assigned based on disease site. They are responsible for documenting and tracking data for reported needs and following up with patients to provide community resources and general support. The Social Worker is responsible for providing supportive counseling as needed to those experiencing anxiety and emotional needs. They will also take part in facilitating community projects and plan programs for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers (i.e. survivorship groups, creative writing classes, wellness sessions, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹10,000.00 – ₹12,000.00 per month
