Job purpose & Scope

To implement Safety aspects, to train subordinates & workers to Complete the Project on Time with Zero Accidents.

Major Areas of Responsibilities & Authority

Implementation and compliance of EHS Statutory requirements like BOCW ACT 1996, The Factories Act, 1948. Etc.
Must be familiar with OHSAS 18001, IS0 9001 standards.
Able to handle multiple project within the region.
Implementation of EHS manual, policies and safe operating procedures and practices.
Investigation, Reporting and analysis of accidents/incidents/near misses/dangerous occurrences.
Preparation and maintaining documentation at project sites and sending to HO for evaluation.
Organizing and conducting safety committee meeting to evaluate the compliance and resolve the problems encountered at project sites.
Conducting competitions/contest for motivation of work force.
Developing and organizing EHS training/Tool Box Talk etc. And ensure implementation of work permit systems.
Ability to assist, lead and coordinate project team in minimizing accidents through day to day monitoring the unsafe observation and rectification.
Consultation and coordination with the client in fulfilling safety requirements.
Ability in Selection, inspection and discarding PPE and T&P.

Person Specifications

Essential Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from recognized university/ institute.

Desired Qualification: Advanced diploma in industrial safety from recognized institute from recognized institute.

Experience: Fresher or 1-2 Years’ experience preferably from Power plant construction

Industry Preference: Power plants/ Power Transmission / Substation Projects

The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
Business
Knowledge of Custody operations, Securities Settlements, Corporate Actions, Financial Market Operations. Knowledge of Agent banking, Sub Custody operations and clearing will be an added advantage.

Processes
To set up or validate corporate action events in CAPE for the purpose of dispatch of the outgoing messages related to Corporate Action in CAPE.
To update the response to sub-custodians on the option being exercised based on the response received from the clients and to debit / credit the clients account for disbursement processing.
To ensure making for proper collection and disbursement of resultant entitlements from corporate action events.
To prepare vouchers or Swift messages for Transfer of funds from and to Nostro accounts and transfer of funds across accounts based on the underlying instructions.
To maintain checklists / proper documentation / filing of the CA events
Ensure all timelines are met with accuracy as per agreed SLA.
Train the back-ups to handle all the processes in your absence.
Process training to new joiners and provide updates on the process change. Initiate incorporation of process changes in DOI .
To Support application testing and processes relating to Corporate Action activities.
To participate and contribute to the successful completion of BCP/DR test at required frequencies.
Managing KCSA related queries, timely updating of volumes in PS tool and active participation in CSR activities.
To support Migration of the new activities.
Complete all mandatory e-learning as and when it required.

People and Talent
Collaborative skills and should be able to work with staff across locations and grades.

To ensure all control/operating procedure and documentations are properly followed.
To ensure compliance to all established procedures, regulations and the Group Guidelines.

Role Responsibilities

Job holder is responsible to ensure end to end processing of assigned following activities/products in line with agreed SLA & TAT. Activities – Monthly independent review of Currency Chest & Central Cash & half yearly review of Currency Chest , % of team multi-skilled in different product processes Productivity metrics, cycle times, error rates, zero escalation, customer complaints Cost vs. Budget Effective resource management/ consequence management Progress vs SLA’s and customer expectations Audit ratings/ tracking of audit findings Operational losses To work as a Data Entry Opertor. To Handle / Manage Sorting Cash. To Update RBI Package. To Work as a Custodian / Backup Custodian (Currency Chest/ Central Cash) Processing and Decision Making as per the Departmental Operating Instructions Manual and within the Timeliness and accuracy standards specified. Continuous Improvement in Productivity to the standards prescribed for the Processes from time to time Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures to the extent applicable and Reporting all suspicious Transactions to Line Manager. Taking care of all relevant regulatory & other MIS. Counting & Balancing of Coins. Displaying of currency bundles before processing and discrepant notes with note slip .

Job holder is accountable to ensure error free processing for all financial transactions (ebbs, e-branch, PSGL & other related applications) within self-allotted authorities and after obtaining the necessary approvals along with appropriate vouchers signed off to avoid any operational loss thereafter and adverse comments in audit review.
Job holder is responsible to ensure Zero Pendency in record/documents archival as per laid down process/timelines.

Maintaining smooth interaction and TAT’s effectively for all activities.
Ensure updation of all registers, trackers & MIS daily.
With Ownership look for end to end resolution of Issues being encountered.
Ensure to have sufficient process knowledge to independently perform operations and must demonstrate proficiency by successfully performing this activity.

Risk Management

Adhere to laid out processes and procedures while completing process actions.
Ensure no surprise culture: no failed Audit and to achieve at least satisfactory rating in all groups / external / internal audit / service quality audits.
Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy and CDD Policies/Procedures to the extent applicable and reporting all suspicious Transactions to the Line Manager.
Ensure adherence of BCSBI, Compensation Policy, Cheque Collection Policy guidelines and any other Group company policy.
Inculcate the practice of doing Right the First Time (FTR).
Ensure appropriate and adequate documentation is in place for process actions.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
