Job Summary:

Leverages technical product knowledge to develop, enhance and govern technical product data content. Uses best practices in data management to collect, maintain or correct product data content.

Principal Responsibilities:

Collecting source documentation such as datasheets, drawings, attributes, product feature, commercial data, classifications (product, trade compliance, tariff), PCNs, videos and product images from sources such as supplier websites, internal databases, spreadsheets, public address databases, and search engines.
Maintain product data owned by business to ensure accuracy and freshness of content.
Perform research and assessment of relevancy of business data.
Work with Microsoft Office toolsets to extract and update content from other systems. Upload spreadsheets and documents into back office systems.
Continuously improve the quality and completeness of technical data in product databases & customer-facing websites in light of emerging/new technology, changing business objectives, and to benefit and drive increased site traffic and sales.
Ensure that classification of products selected for investment are correct, maintained, and updated to meet current market requirements.
Research and resolve internal/external customer inquiries concerning errors or incompleteness in product content.
Participate as a subject matter expert in key business programs involving product data content (ecommerce, IoT, SEO, cross-referencing, smartparts, syndication, PIM system administration).

Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices and standards, acquired via academic instruction and/or relevant work experience of substantially the same level.
