Duties and Accountabilities

The Team Assistants duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

I. Project support:

Assist TTL(s) with field visits and client interactions on projects; routine mission scheduling; tracking day to day activities for assigned projects; hiring of consultants and firms using appropriate office procedures and systems;

Assist team in preparing/drafting variety of standard documents needed for various stages of the project cycle, incorporate agreed comments into documents, quality enhancement for all mail and document editing and transmitting to the client including formatting/spell check, monitor and update activity milestones, monitor task budgets, etc.;

Carry out full range of office support work, including managing processes and monitoring schedules related to their team’s/unit’s products and tasks;

Maintains up-to-date project and other files in the official repository of the World Bank, WBDocs;

Draft routine correspondence materials, using proper grammar, punctuation and style.

II. Client Interaction and coordination:

Coordinate extensively with service units and liaise frequently with team members both at headquarters and in the field, as well as external counterparts;

Coordinate schedules taking priorities into account, monitors changes, and communicates the information to appropriate staff, inside and outside the immediate work unit, including officials outside the Bank Group;

Maintains current distribution list, phone/address lists of projects/product contacts;

Work closely with other staff within the unit to make a significant contribution to the overall achievement of the unit’s work program;

Solves non-routine problems (e.g., responds to requests requiring file search, etc.);

Logistical support for various events, e.g., conferences, workshops, negotiations, etc.

lll. Other duties:

Provide back-up support for other staff and Task Team Assistants/Program assistants on project and administrative tasks in the assigned cluster and across the New Delhi office, when required.

Selection Criteria

Among other criteria, the successful candidates should be holding:

Minimum of High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
2-3 year’s working experience in administration; logistics; business management service, or other relevant fields.

Highly organized and time-conscious in performing assigned tasks.

Effective working in a team, with excellent inter-personal skills.

Ability to work across boundaries and proactive in tackle work challenges.

Strong English language skills (verbal and written), including ability to draft a
variety of correspondence and edit materials using proper grammar, punctuation.

Proficiency in key business tools such as Excel for managing quantitative and logistic tasks, when necessary.

SALARY PACKAGE: BHC candidates, the Local BHC Terms & Conditions will apply. Role Overview:
Work on sales opportunities leveraging Accenture’s best practices, tools and methodologies E2E sales process management across lifecycle of a deal (RFP, legal/ contract negotiations and approvals, client presentations, negotiations)Manage related activities eg. proposal development, sales tool management, deal shaping, intelligence gathering, creating presentation materialMaintain business development budgets and structured reportingAccount-based/ campaign-based origination supportStakeholder management across the business entities

Build Sales expertise:
• Build knowledge and understanding of Accenture assets, offerings and methodologies and how they are leveraged to address client needs effectively
• Participate in proposal development activities focused on defining a compelling and differentiating value proposition
• Learn the Accenture selling framework by supporting a wide variety of deals
Stakeholder mapping:
• Be exposed to and learn from senior members/coach on Stakeholder management
• Understand decision process around efficient and effective use of business development resources
• Build network at level with client team members and get exposure to the C-suite with shadowing opportunities
• Participate in discussions and negotiations with key stakeholders eg. CDTS, Legal, Contract Management
• Learn the internal approval mechanism and ensure compliance and monitoring
Drive the Sales process:
• Develop skills to be able to coordinate end to end Bid Management activities across lifecycle of a deal and support key activities such as deal shaping and client negotiation sessions
• Learn and leverage Accenture’s sales best practices, tools, processes and reporting to support MMS management, New Business Meeting preparation
• Support the bid manager to manage the activities on the sales message house, the win strategy, negotiation strategy, stakeholder/relationship strategy and close plan
• Support the creation of proposal materials and observe key events in the sales process including orals planning & presentations, site visits
• Gain exposure and build expertise in commercials, including pricing strategy and deal shaping, legal Terms & Conditions, and coordinate internal approvals and sales team resources
