About the Role
You will work under Retail Core Operations (RCO) as part of CSBB Ops (legacy PVSI Operations) group of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A
Deposit Document Review team at Wells Fargo India will review customer and account documentation for new and existing deposit accounts to ensure signatures, tax certification, and supporting legal documentation is received and meets legal, regulatory and policy requirements.
The role would require working in a team of Operations Processors & Senior Operations Processors to fulfill work type requirement & meet service level agreement as defined by the business for Issue & Inquiry Resolution.

Responsibilities

An Operations Processor will perform a variety of moderately complex to complex operational tasks.
Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure.
Tasks require coordination of information among various operational areas and customers. Uses multiple online systems.
Duties may include – receiving and reviewing incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed, entering transactions into systems, verifying with accuracy; resolving complex customer/client requests using multiple resources and records.
Along with eye to detail, Operations Processor must gain comfort working in volume driven environment.
Preparing, editing, distributing, and/or correcting specialized and/or complex documents. Works under general supervision following established procedures.
Exercise some judgment within guidelines.
Considered a subject matter expert on operational issues related to process or function
Acts as escalation point for new hired processors for complex issues or transactions, providing training as needed.

Essential Qualifications

University degree in Business, Commerce or any other discipline
Experience of 1.5-3 years in banking/Financial Services operations
Good knowledge of Deposit Products
Strong analytical skills with eye to details
Strong communication skills both written and spoken
Flexible with working in US operational hours i.e. India night shifts

Desired Qualifications

Quality-Oriented. Demonstrates high-level of attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Working knowledge in quality or with back-office processing experience or its equivalent
College graduate, preferably in Commerce.
Experience with Deposit Products, US transactional processes covering US day i.e. India night hours are highly recommended.

Main purpose of job: The job holder will work with the team in the British Deputy High Commission in Chennai and colleagues across the British government network in India, especially those in Delhi and Bangalore. They will act as a political analyst on international and regional issues as they affect the states of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, as well as the domestic politics of those states. You will need to produce high quality reporting and analysis proactively, drawing on your extensive network of contacts. The successful applicant will be expected to be self-motivated; be able to work effectively and have well-developed contact building and political analysis experience. They will also will require excellent communication and organisational skills. This role will report to a UK member of staff and will work closely with all colleagues in the mission. Roles and responsibilities: The job holder will work closely with the team in Chennai, Bangalore and the Foreign & Security Policy team in Delhi, as well as with other British government diplomatic missions in the region. They will analyse, report, and give policy advice on:
Proactively identifying and reporting political developments in Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry
Reporting on Economic and infrastructure developments in Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry
Human Rights and civil society analysis in the above states
Security and Defence issues
The jobholder will support India network activity on security and defence issues, including regional security. They will also report on counter terrorism and countering violent extremism, and other security issues with special focus on border regions. The job holder will provide reports on Human Rights within Tamil Nadu and Puducherry including religious groups and civil society; they will also run and deliver Human Rights programmes funded by the FCDO. The job holder will contribute to analysis of domestic politics and lead on coverage in state elections The jobholder will act as Visits Officer for the post: to be the first point of contact for the programmes of any government and official visitors to the region, and support India-wide major visits as required. The jobholder will run and deliver the FCDO Chevening Scholarship Programme for applicants residing in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Resources managed: The job holder will not have direct management responsibilities. However, they will contribute to the overall smooth running of the mission, and the collective effort of the team in post. Language requirements: Language: English, Tamil Level of language required: The job holder should be fluent in English. They should be able to function in Tamil. Learning and development opportunities: The jobholder will be able to access a wide range of English language material online and face to face training delivered for the UK government in Britain and abroad. Much of the learning is on the job, which will be diverse and unusual, with a strong focus on development of a good written style. Working patterns: The British High Commission network across India is committed to providing flexible work patterns. While standard hours are 08:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday; 08:30 to 13:30 on Fridays, with 30 minutes for lunch, the use of mobile ICT and the nature of the job means that the jobholder will be able to work different hours according to their personal circumstances.

Post Graduate qualification with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a political analyst or a researcher.
Experience in working with organisations like diplomatic missions, larger business houses, NGO, or organisations with international links.

Collaborate with cross functional teams or interdependent banking groups on common tasks / objectives.

Essential Qualifications:
The role carries a strong requirement for computer and data analytical skills combined with business application. Key attributes for the qualifying candidate to be successful in this role would include:

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, coupled with requisite technical expertise with Excel, SQL, and similar analytic tools.
Good working knowledge of cross-border payments, including SWIFT formats (MT103, MT202, etc.), Fedwire (CTR/BTR) and CHIPS (Bank/Non-bank) formats, and inquiry/investigation handling. Basic working knowledge of foreign exchange is a bonus. Understanding of the SWIFT global payments innovation initiative (SWIFT gpi) is a plus.
Strong Project management skills & Advanced technical skills in MS-Office Applications and other database tools
Focus on Risk management: demonstrable with appropriate subject matter knowledge and attention to risk in day to day functions.
Educational qualification: College degree with relevant major (business, finance, accounting and/or computer science).
8+ years in International or domestic banking payments and International Banking Systems Knowledge including Transaction Banking.

What would you do?
The Business Reporting and Governance vertical helps to deploy and deliver robust tracking mechanism for SLA/KPI or any other operations on a day to day basis.
The Reporting team works on daily reports required by senior leadership and help deliver the requirements in a timely and accurate manner with business insights. You will also have to have the ability to transform them to visualized tools and databases so that more insights can be driven for leadership teams.
The role will require for you to work on Microsoft Power BI to help visualize data and share discoveries and collaborate in intuitive new ways.
